Henan Yichuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2022. It is a wholly-owned holding company in the electroplating park with a total investment of 1.7 billion yuan. The project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase of the 2GWH new energy battery project has been put into operation. The second phase of the 3GWH power energy storage sodium ion battery project will cooperate with Central South University to establish the China Sodium Shangqiu Research and Development Center. The plan will be put into operation by the end of 2025.
Relying on the advantages of the electroplating park platform, the industrial chain has been lengthened, the chain has been strengthened, and new energy supporting industries have been successfully attracted to the park, such as battery steel shells, caps, positive and negative conductive materials, battery production equipment, etc., extending from pollution control to emerging technology industries.
